Locked Out...

Hello everyone,

Just a quick post and an apology for the absence and not replying to comments.
My former e-mail address was cancelled, which resulted in being unable to log in to the blog and in not receiving comment notifications...

Whether it's because I'm on a different computer now or just a stroke of luck, I now have access to my blog again (yay!). I'll be answering all the comments as quickly as I can, I swear I wasn't ignoring you on purpose lol

I don't expect to be posting any new patterns any time soon, but the blog will stay up regardless, as a sort of archive.

For those interested I'll leave links to the software I've been using to make my patterns with:

Thanks for all your interest and kind words!

Wishing you all the best,
C.J.

  1. Hi! I love your patterns and I was just wondering if I could sell something I made by following one of your patterns?

    1. Thank you for your comment, and yes, feel free to sell what you make with these patterns. Provided you don't run a sweat shop/factory type operation I'm happy for these patterns to be used "commercially".
I'd love to see what you make with them, so please send me pictures or a link to your work if you can, I'm sure others would love to see them too :)

      With kindest regards,
      C.J.

  2. Hello. I like black work embroidery.
I am reading the comment that you can sell what you made with your pattern.
In Japan, events that sell items made by individuals are popular.
I'd like to work with your pattern.
Thank you for providing a good pattern.

    1. Hi Tammy,
So sorry about the late reply, but for some reason I never received a notification of your comment by email :(
No, I'm not blogging somewhere else, I just don't have anything worth posting :) I'm really glad you like the English paper piecing blocks, I hope there are enough of them to keep you busy ;)
Thank you for your kind comment,
      with kindest regards,
      C.J.

  4. Hi C.J.!
I'm so happy to have found the source of all of those fantastic peyote patterns! I've put them all on a board with your blog's name so others can attribute their work to you as well.
I'm also thrilled to see resources for Black work, quilting and sewing too! Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us!

  5. Hi! I put 9 of your patterns together and stitched a blackwork picture with them. I had to modify some as each motif I used could only be 20 x 20 squares. I'm in a blackwork and a cross stitch group on Facebook and would like permission to post a picture of what I made. I would be glad to share it with you first. Please let me know if I have your permission and anything I need to do in posting the picture besides giving you credit. Thank you1 Your designs are gorgeous and I had a great time stitching them!

    1. Hi Vicki,
Yes!!! Please feel free to post pictures, or even sell your projects if you like!
In other words: use your work in any way you want to :)
I'm incredibly flattered you like my patterns enough to stitch them and that's really the only reason I made them and put them on my blog.
Thank you for your kind words and keep on stitching ;)
