Quilt Block 9: Pattern and Template

This hexagon also measures 30 cm in height, but I think it's probably a bit trickier to make than  most of the previous blocks. Sorry about that... ;)

      P.S. These days the templates I post have 0.75cm seam allowance, since I found 0.5cm can be a bit fiddly to work with. But if you like fiddly you won't have any problems with this one ;)

  2. How would you quilt this, please give me a idea please

    1. Hi,
      I would either stitch in the ditch, unless I ironed the seams open.
      Or from one point of the hexagon to the one across it, on all corners.
      So starting on the outerpoint of a lightblue diamond, in a straight line across the two darker green diamonds in the middle, and the following lightblue diamond, right to the tip. Repeat for two of the other corners, so three lines in all.
      I hope I've explained it clearly enough lol,if not, please me know, and I'll try to add a picture to this post :)
